Rachelle Frey, LPC
About me
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Missouri, and I have provided counseling services for over 4 years in various capacities. Some of the issues I have had a lot of success in treating include depression, anxiety disorders, PTSD and trauma, seasonal affective disorder, overwhelm, codependency, and low self esteem. I also have experience with sexual abuse, loss and grief, transitions, and family of origin issues.
My therapy style is to act as a guide that walks beside you. I believe that you are the expert on your own life, and that I am there to assist in getting you to your goals and moving forward. My approach is eclectic and includes a combination of methods that will best suit your needs to meet your goals. It can include cognitive-behavioral, existential and life purpose focused, solution-focused, trauma-focused, mindfulness and emotion regulation (DBT), and integrative approaches to wellness.
I believe that one of the most courageous things a person can do is to walk into the difficult parts of themselves and their lives, and I am willing to walk with you through the difficult things so you can come out on the other side!
I look forward to meeting you and helping you make progress toward your goals!
