Rachelle Miller
About me
Hello there, and congratulations on making this step towards healing and personal growth! It takes a lot of courage to ask for help. I applaud you for looking into options to fit your needs.
My name is Rachelle, and I am a licensed therapist with 7 years of social work/ therapy experience. I am married with a young baby and two doggos. I enjoy reading, cooking, nature, family time and of course Netflix and long walks through target.
I have experience working with people across lifespan from ages 2-105. With experience providing play therapy to children and families; I can assist with parenting support and provide therapy to adolescents struggling with anxiety, trauma, depression, self-esteem, and behavioral issues. I also have experience providing family therapy using a systems approach to help the family unit run more smoothly, address communication deficits and heal from trauma and or resentments. These services can be provided young adult/college aged students, adolescents, and families. In addition to the information listed above, I have 10 years of experiences working in geriatric health care settings and am available to provide therapy support to caregivers who are taking care of geriatric family members.
Seeing an individual meet their goals and learning more about themselves along with their family is a beautiful gift that should always be celebrated. I work alongside you as a team member to your life to help you achieve your goals. Self-determination, creativity, and personal growth are two very important things I strive to bring into sessions. My counseling style is very engaging and can be directive if preferable. I will work with you to create a treatment plan that meets your unique and individual needs.
I look forward to working with you!
Respectfully with Love and Light,
Rachelle Miller, LCSW
