Radka Kozielova, BACP
About me
I have a fondness for a warm-hearted, kind, realistic and empathetic approach to counselling and mental wellbeing. With many years of experience, I’m well versed in guiding my clients into a better headspace by letting them know they are not alone. Working on a one-to-one basis, our plan revolves around problem identification, coping strategies, and developing resolutions. Working together like this, we can help you get the most out of life.
I have been diagnosing and delivering mental health counselling since 2006. Much of this work has come to me via GP’s or through self-referral. This has included (but is not limited to) coping with bereavements, relationship problems, work problems, addiction, anxiety, phobias, couple counselling and counselling adult survivors of abuse. I have even been used as an expert by ITV's Jeremy Kyle Show.
Over the years I have gained a broad knowledge and understanding of working with a variety of challenging client groups. For example - children and adolescents with varying mental and physical needs, people with drug and alcohol issues, mental health problems, learning disabilities and criminal offence histories. I am experienced in working with vulnerable people who
are at an increased risk of being a victim of crime, domestic violence, burglary, physical or sexual assault.
Since 2006 I have worked as a volunteer for Rape Crisis and I currently support women who have been assaulted sexually.
Since 2005 I have worked for Victim Support on a voluntary basis and I am currently supporting victims of crime, such as domestic violence, burglary, and physical and sexual assault. My work with Victim Support involves working with families, including children, usually in their own homes.
I care. Not just because it's my job, but because it's who I am.

I've only had 2 sessions so far with Radka and I've benefitted already from the suggestions she's made for me. I would highly recommend her. She's very open minded and I find she relates well to me. I look forward to what else she has to share with me.
