Randolph Reed, LCSW
About me
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Virginia with 25 years of professional work experience in both direct patient care and program management. I have worked in a number of Behavioral Health settings including Inpatient Units, Intensive Outpatient Clinics and hospital Emergency Departments. I have worked with clients experiencing significant depression, anxiety, thoughts of self harm, career difficulties, life changes, relationship issues and communication issues. During therapy my focus is on assisting clients in identifying their main concerns, exploring the causes of their distress and working together to find solutions. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can take courage and I appreciate you for getting started!

Randy is an excellent counselor.
I have been working with him for nearly 9 months now.
I enjoy working with Randy so much and will continue to do so long in to the future.

Mr. Reed is a patient, thoughtful gentleman in my opinion. He has navigated through some pretty rough waters with me on this mental health journey. Even in some of my most resistant times, he has been a calming voice in my worst storms. He never gave up on seeing things through... and I am eternally grateful for his counsel.

Randy helped me look back at the past and isolate events that have hampered me most of my life. Once these events were explored I was able to course correct certain aspects of my life.

Randolph is the best therapist I have ever worked with. He listens with empathy and asks great, high level questions, and is attentive when I have needed a quick session to guide me through a rough patch.
I am grateful to have found such a tremendous resource I can rely on.
