Rasheda Long, LICSW
About me
My name is Rasheda Long. I am an Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in the state of AL and TN. I have been in mental health for 6 years. I started out as a school based therapist in Huntsville City Schools and God transitioned me to community mental health in Fayetteville, TN where I have worked 4.8 years. I currently do contract work while also supporting my private practice. I have worked with clients age 3 and up dealing with issues such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, bipolar/mood disorders, grief, familial issues, confidence/esteem issues, attachment, and more. I have used interventions to include CBT, TF-CBT, solution-focused therapy and more. I truly believe that everyone has at least one strength no matter how small it may seem. I strive to assist clients in being able to utilize this strength in navigating their mental health journey. Clients are the expert on their life and I work as the "assistant professor" to help them navigate it when they're unable to. With empathy, compassion, and straightforwardness, I look forward to working with you as we word towards your therapy goals.
