Rebecca Garside, BACP
About me
Hi my name is Beck and I am a person centred counsellor. I am skilled in helping people find their way through life.
I have many years experience of counselling all age groups from teenage through to seniors. I have counselled people for whom everyday life is a struggle, and I have helped people navigate the challenges of grief, loss and heartbreaking devastation.
I have worked for many years with people who have experience of the care system; also issues concerning identity around birth families and foster care.
I am an ally of the LGBTQIA+ community and can discuss topics regarding coming out, exploring sexual identity and gender identity.
I have experience of working with parents whose children have grown up and left home, to deal with the effects of 'empty nest syndrome' and later life difficulties such as the emotional consequences of menopause.
Finding the right counsellor is important so that you feel supported and able to explore your issues and achieve sustainable change.
We can see if we are suited and if you feel I am the right counsellor for you. I look forward to speaking with you.

Rebecca is very attentive and supportive.
I appreciate to be able to send voice messages in between sessions to help relieve my brain and heart without dumping on my friends.

She’s really kind and compassionate. It really helps to have session with her. I thought things like journaling was impossible for me until she thought me to start doing lists as a first step and it changed my life. I highly recommend her she’s amazing
