Rebecca Nia, BACP
About me
My name is Rebecca and I am a UK based registered therapist.
I am trained in the humanistic approach and since my initial training I have added to my skills and now work in an integrative way. This means I use many skills, tools and techniques, combining a humanistic approach with other approaches such as compassion focused therapy, CBT, ERP and somatic experiencing ( using the body to calm the nervous system, helping to calm the mind and process emotions)
In other words I can tailor each session to the client's needs, using many tools and techniques.
My clients have had a wide range of concerns, however I have a particuar interest in helping those with anxiety, stress, grief, chronic pain conditions, phobias and trauma, which can impact their daily life, their relationships and career.
I am open, supportive, very informal, warm, friendly and sessions are intereactive, which means we figure things out together. I will support, guide and help you as you navigate, uncover and process your feelings, thoughts and insights.
I will offer you a safe, warm and non-judgemental space. I believe genuine human connection is key in therapy.
I have helped many clients within my practice and it is truly incredible to see how their life can change for the better when they can 'unpack' with someone they can trust and feel empowered, heard and seen.
I believe everyone can make helpful and positive changes in their life, given the right envionment where they are accepted fully.
It isn't easy to start therapy , it takes bravery, but if you feel ready to start this journey, I will support you along the way.
I look forward to working with you and seeing you achieving your therapy goals.

Rebecca is a wonderful therapist. This is my first-time experience going through therapy, but going through it with Rebecca gives me a lot of comfort. I certianly endorse her for her professionalism.

When I first started therapy I wasn’t sure if it would work for me and I can now say it changed my life. Rebecca provides a welcoming, warm, and kind environment to allow a safe space to share. Rebecca helped me work through childhood and relationship traumas, and has helped me build a toolset to tackle future things that come me way. She is worth her weight in gold.

She’s such a lovely person, really connects with you on a level that doesn’t make you feel like you’re talking to a lab coat. But she has such amazing advice and insight

Rebecca is very kind, listening and really tries to help. With her help I've managed to uncover some childhood issues/traumas which I now understand both at an intellectual and emotional level. I'm really grateful that she was my therapist for 5 months. I now look at my problems in a very different way. Thank you Rebecca!

I have never had therapy before so was very nervous but I have really enjoyed my sessions with Rebecca. She is such a lovely kind and caring person. I feel like she genuinely cares about you and how you are feeling. I feel I can speak to her about anything and she is very helpful and helps me understand how I’m feeling.
