About me
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in upstate New York with 18 years experience working with adolescents and families. My areas of experience include depression, adolescent anxiety, parenting and co-parenting concerns, self-harming urges, trauma, self-esteem, borderline personality disorder, living with a family member with persistent mental illness, and the transition to adulthood.
I believe in a client centered approach. You are the expert on your life and I am here to offer you tools to help you live your best life. Counseling is a space to focus on your needs and concerns. I am trained in DBT as well as Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I enjoy the platform of telehealth as it allows for more frequent contacts and brief check-ins, allowing for in the moment skills teaching.
If you are looking to make changes in your life and want a non-judgmental therapist then I hope you schedule with me. I am excited to get know new clients and learn about you and your unique needs. When looking at my schedule you may not see many daytime appointments, rest assured I am available, I just prefer clients to schedule with me to maintain balance with my other responsibilities.
