Renee Lafriniere, LMHC

I'd like for lots of people I know to have the opportunity to experience a session with René. I've had therapists in the past but none with her style of connecting on a personal basis. At first it was a little disorienting, more like talking to a friend than a paid professional. Luckily, I'd read another review that suggested sticking with it to see the benefit of her way of relating to her clients and I am glad I did. Her friendly, casual style really helped overcome the gaps in interpersonal communication that are inherent in online conversations. She got to know me, I came to trust her, and we had many wonderful conversations.

I am impressed by René's recall, her ability to connect seemingly disparate topics, and her willingness to meet me in whatever mood I might be in each time we talk. She made a big difference in how I was feeling about myself, my family, and my work. Over our many sessions, she gave me a lot to think about and held the threads of thought together over time. I have really enjoyed working with her and appreciate the improvement over how I was feeling when I first signed up for BetterHelp.

I absolutely love my sessions with Renee. I really wanted a therapist who would direct the conversation while also listening when something comes to mind and she does exactly that. Renee is very easy to have a chat too and we always have a good laugh about something during our sessions too. She will give me new ways to think about things or different ways I can approach challenges which are always super helpfull. Would highly recommend Renee!

Renee is an easy person to speak with about difficult issues. She can move quickly to the central problem and offer excellent solutions. She can establish a true relationship with ease. She has a natural manner which makes her able to establish a solid connection. On a scale of one to ten she would score a ten for excellent.
