I am licensed in New York and New Jersey with an array of 30+ years of professional work experience. I've facilitated groups at halfway houses, worked in numerous crisis centers and hospitals, advocated and counseled people who have been survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence, worked with TBI clients, etc. All of these work endeavors were to seek answers on how best to help people. It is also for this reason that I'm eternally learning new evidence-based approaches to therapy. I hold certifications in trauma, ADHD, nutrition and mental health, grief, integrative sex therapy, DBT, as well as extensive knowledge in anxiety, depression, mood disorders, etc. On a national level, I train other professionals on sexual trauma. All of this education is designed to give you as many tools as possible to help you achieve your goals and alleviate your symptoms starting with the first session. I have learned that around 80% of the strategies I've learned will work for you and about 20% will be unique to you. We'll figure your recipe out together. Life can be wonderful, and I want you living your best life instead of in therapy with me once a week. Of course, we will go at a pace that works for you.
