Renee Wells, LPC
About me
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Board Certified and Licensed Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with over 20 years of professional experience in the mental health field.
My counseling style is non-judgmental, collaborative, and compassionate. I provide a safe environment in therapy so that you are able to truly share what is on your mind.
I specialize in helping individuals break free from fears, anxiety and stress that hold them back. These fears are often rooted in trauma, loss and other events. They tend to limit the ability to process emotionally difficult information.
One of the ways I treat these symptoms is EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) as part of an overall treatment strategy. I often combine other methods such as CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), DBT Dialectical Behavior
Therapy), and other evidence based practices to ensure the best outcomes.
It’s my honor to share this important time in your life. I look forward to meeting you!

I went from being fed up of therapists to wanting to be in therapy with Renee forever because she is the first person who has given me the type of support and comfort I had been craving.
She is so kind, warmhearted and patient with me and even makes a point of checking in on me if I haven’t contacted her in a short while. My healing journey has been amazing under her guidance and though it might take years, knowing Renee is my travel companion makes it worth it.

Renee is an absolute amazing therapist. I've had a rough track record with therapists for the most part so I was hesitant at first but Renee put all my doubts and worries to rest right away. She is an amazing therapist who has worked diligently with me to accomplish so much healing, growth, and peace in such a short while. I put off handling the wounds of my past for 10+ years and since working with her have healed and found closure with so much in a short period of time. It feels amazing!!
