Richard Amparan, LPC
About me
After coming home from two deployments to Fallujah, Iraq and leaving the United States Marine Corps, I decided to join the war on mental health. I’ve worked 13 years in the mental health field and continue to have the same mindset of client centered care mixed with researched therapies offer the best outcomes for improving/decreasing symptoms. All of my clients receive a tailored approach to their individual needs and goals by utilizing multiple therapy modalities. I would love to work with you to develop short- and long-term goals to measure outcomes related to post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety, depression, stress, insomnia, nightmares, anger management, and couples therapy.
I’m very flexible with scheduling with availability for evenings and weekends. If you have a specific time request, please don’t hesitate to let me know and I will do my best to meet your scheduling needs.
Below is a list of therapies I have been trained in during my 13 years of experience. I’ve also included the projected number of sessions required to complete these therapies (continued care after completion is always available). Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions. I will be rooting for you on your recovery journey!
