About me
I am a licensed professional counselor through the state of Missouri with 6 years of clinical work experience. My experience comes from providing direct mental health and behavioral counseling to children, teens, and adults with a variety of of presenting issues including depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, grief and loss, and parenting issues. I have also worked with individuals struggling with substance use issues.
I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. My approach to therapy is client centered. I also have been trained in dialectical behavioral therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy techniques along with having a certification in play therapy.
It is my belief that you are the expert of your story and I am here to assist you with finding the answers you are seeking in order to be a healthier, happier you. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support and empower you in that journey.
