Robyn Clegg-Gibson, BACP
About me
I am a qualified therapist in the UK with experience helping clients to recover from trauma and abuse, addiction, and managing emotions.
I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without judgement. As a person-centred therapist, I place you at the heart of the therapeutic process, as I support you on your journey. This approach fosters self-awareness and personal growth, allowing you to find your own solutions and achieve a greater sense of wellbeing. I am also trained to deliver positive psychology and other integrative techniques.
My practice is intersectional and trauma-informed, understanding that all clients have unique needs and goals. I am dedicated to providing a supportive, non-judgemental, and tailored therapeutic approach to each individual.
I am experienced working with neurodiverse clients (such as autism & ADHD), LGBTQIA+ clients, and clients from diverse ethnic and religious backgrounds, socio-economic backgrounds, ages, and more. I appreciate that these factors shape your experiences and challenges. By considering the whole person and their unique context, I strive to create an inclusive therapeutic environment,
I am also trained to work with couples, providing a supportive space where partners can openly communicate and work through challenges. My goal is to help you understand and address underlying issues, improve communication, and strengthen your relationship.

I've enjoyed having Ms. Robyn as someone I can turn to during a difficult time. I'm so glad I found her!

Robyn feels like the lifelong friend that space inhibited me having. Robyn is extremely receptive, gentle and direct when it comes to her assessments. Therapy was always taboo in my family until it became necessary. Robyn understood this and has been so patient.
Robyn respects my lifestyle, my trauma and my beliefs. One day I asked Robyn if I could play my ukulele for her and she gleefully agreed. I wish more people were like you.

From our very first session, I felt truly heard and understood. Her compassionate and non-judgmental approach created a safe space for me to explore my thoughts and feelings openly. Robyn has an incredible ability to listen deeply and offer insights that have genuinely helped me navigate through some challenging times. Her techniques are both practical and effective, and I’ve noticed a significant improvement in my overall well-being since I began therapy. I always leave our sessions feeling empowered and more at peace.
