Rochelle Armstrong, BACP
About me
Hi, I’m Rochelle, an integrative counsellor and a member of the BACP.
Since qualifying in the UK in 2018, I’ve had the privilege of supporting many individuals from backgrounds over the world. I offer a safe, confidential space where you can explore and learn from your emotions with non-judgemental acceptance and unconditional positive regard. My goal is to help you gain a deeper understanding of who you are, uncover who you’d like to be, and align with the person you aspire to become.
I am trauma and CPTSD-informed, with significant experience in exploring the nuances of Mixed-race identity. I also support clients in unpacking both racial gaslighting and racial trauma, alongside helping with unpacking internalised racism, racial identity acceptance, BPD (EUPD), family conflicts, abuse, and burnout. Together, we will create a safe, open space where you can freely share your thoughts and feelings without fear of judgment. Taking the first step towards therapy can be challenging, and I commend you for taking this important step in your journey.
I look forward to working with you and supporting you as you step into the best version of yourself – the person you were always meant to be!

I love how Rochelle holds space for me. I’m a verbal processor, so it really helps feeling safe in expressing my thoughts in order to get out of my own head. She listens and asks questions that (gently) push me to reflect on where I am and what I want, which helps me understand the work necessary to move forward. I find myself feeling lighter after our sessions!

I found myself in a dark place and once I made a decision that I wanted a way out. I was lucky enough to get Rochelle as a therapist. She’s extremely attentive, kind and genuine. Its almost impossible to fathom how it felt to not have weekly sessions. Beyond just listening she challenges me, comforts me, and is always available!
