Romesha Jackson (Bridges), LPC
About me
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas with over 5 years of experience in the mental health field. I have had the pleasure of working with individuals from all walks of life including those struggling with depression, anxiety, anger management issues, addiction, trauma, bi-polar disorder, schizoaffective disorder and adjustment disorder.
The client-therapist relationship is an integral part of the therapeutic process. I believe that people have the answer they need inside of them but they may just need support, psycho- education or just a sounding board to realize it. The therapeutic approach I use is based on the individual I am working with. I am person-centered at the core but I utilize techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, dialectal behavioral therapy, existential therapy, solution- focused therapy, and motivational interviewing.
Utilizing the resource of counseling takes strength but it is worth it. Everyone has the right to achieve their full potential. I look forward to walking along side of you on this part of your journey.
