Ronnie Glover, LCSW
About me
I obtained a Master's degree in Social Work from the School of Social Work at the University of North Carolina and Chapel Hill in 2008. With over 13 years of experience, I have worked with individuals facing various challenges, including anxiety, depression, life transitions, family conflicts, and symptoms of severe and persistent mental illness.
For a decade, I served as a social worker at the Veterans Hospital, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team comprising nurses, social workers, and psychiatrists. Our primary focus was providing support to veterans with chronic mental illness. Through this experience, I firmly believe in the potential for everyone to recover by acquiring effective coping skills and fostering overall wellness.
I recognize that therapy can feel overwhelming, and finding a therapist who aligns with your personality and style is crucial. I view the client as the expert in their own life, with unique values and experiences. I am eager to assist individuals in pursuing their values and exploring what may be holding them back from becoming the best version of themselves.
I look forward to working together and supporting you on your journey.
