Rory Ayotte, LMSW
About me
I am a fully licensed Master-level social worker with over 10 years of experience working with children and families in the human services and school settings. I have a degree in Social Work with a focus on family systems, sociology and human sexuality. Throughout my career I have worked with people of various backgrounds and with a variety of needs.
My approach in working with individuals is a nurturing, kind, yet open and direct style. I believe that techniques that work for one person will not work for every person and that we grow by making mistakes and owning them. I will respect you and your beliefs, while challenging some of your thought processes to produce a positive outcome. I view all people from not only an individual perspective but how we are impacted by the systems in which we are a part of, such as our families, upbringings, and relationships. I have experience in working with adolescents, teenagers, young adults and adults in various stages of life.
Seeking and participating in therapy is a brave step for your overall mental, emotional and physical well being. Therapy is not a sign of weakness, rather, it's a sign of strength that you have the ability to see that there is a need and you are helping yourself.
I cannot wait to meet you and help you on your journey in this beautiful life!
