Rovin is a well informed and compassionate counselor practicing from a humanistic approach which personally I do not know if is the best long term fit for me but has a wealth of skills and resources that have been new to me and I see significant value in exploring. He is flexible and understanding of varying needs week to week and scheduling conflicts. Highly recommend for individuals dealing with self esteem/self respect issues as well as trauma and maladaptive coping mechanisms.

Rovin Chonielall allows an organic flow to the therapy session and has a mastery of skills that enables him to seize the insight and breakthrough moments as they emerge during the free-flowing session. I feel that I have grown a lot in just a few sessions with him, and am much appreciative of what he has provided.

Rovin is sweet, active listener with years of insight. He’s also an awesome cheerleader. He’s specifically helped me with my substance abuse and addictions battles.

Rovin is kind, compassionate, and patient. He is a great listener, brings genuineness to each session, and practices the strategies he teaches. One thing I especially appreciate is he comes to session open-minded and fosters sessions that are conducive to the fluidity of our conversations. He also provides relevant tools and resources based off of content we are exploring. Much of our conversations have changed my life for the better. As much as the healing and unlearning process can feel like an overwhelmingly solo journey, Rovin’s presence and impact in my therapy journey has helped remind me I am not alone and there is a light at the end of all this.
