I’ve had several therapists throughout my life, but Russell stands out as someone truly exceptional. His calm and understanding demeanor immediately puts you at ease. He asks for clarification in such an organic way that you feel he genuinely wants to help.
In just a few sessions, I’ve unearthed things about myself that had been hiding in the depths for years. Russell takes a unique approach with each patient, but he also shares how he’s handled similar issues with others, offering a variety of ways to address each topic. Throughout every session, he makes you feel deeply heard and understood.
I’ve walked away from every session with a better understanding of myself, and I always feel a sense of peace after speaking with him. I would wholeheartedly recommend Russell to anyone seeking therapy. His energy is so grounding and authentic, and I’ve felt a real connection with him in a very short amount of time.

Russell is an extremely forthcoming individual, with empathy and compassion. He is open to share his own experience, which can help guide you through your therapy sessions. His knowledge, and experience in adiction, family matters, personal relationships, and conflict resolution has personally changed my outlook on many of my own issues. He is supportive, emotionally intelligent and most importantly, will be able to relate to your problems on an individual basis. While therapy is more down to your efforts, he can guide you through this, highlight your own strengths, weaknesses, and break down the barriers that have been prohibiting you from progressing from your issues into bite sized, manageable chunks. I have came a long way since starting therapy with Russell, I've still got a long way to go, but I can confidently say, after a few months with Russell, I am a better functioning person. He has inspired me on countless occasions to tackle and confront my issues, and he truly is passionate about his work and clients. He cares, which, in many cases, I think is what an individual requiring therapy needs. His ears and heart is open, and his compassion towards my battles have truly changed how I choose to fight them. I'd recommend Russell in a heartbeat, and have recommended betterhelp to many of my friends since starting with him.

I've just recently started with Russell, but he's been able to quickly establish a positive connection and it's a huge relief to know he's there to talk/message with. So far the dialogue has been very helpful, and I'm very much looking forward to our upcoming sessions.
