Ryan Giles, LCSW
About me
I am a licensed therapist in Utah with 18 years of professional work experience. I have had the privilege of working with a wide range of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, families, and groups. No matter who you are or what challenges you may be facing, I believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to live an emotionally healthy, balanced life. When we become healthy, we can increase our resiliency and flourish in achieving our goals.
Throughout my career, I have helped clients navigate a variety of issues, including things such as having a faith crisi , stress, anxiety, trauma and abuse, grief and loss, and depression. I know from personal experience how overwhelming and debilitating these challenges can be, and I am committed to helping my clients overcome them.
In our work together, I will meet you where you are and create a foundation of understanding and communication. I approach therapy from a strengths perspective, which means that I value you as a person and the navigator of your own story. Together, we will work to identify your inherent strengths and resources, and use them to help you achieve your goals.
I use a variety of therapeutic approaches and techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and trauma-informed care, to help you make meaningful and lasting changes in your life. It takes courage to seek out therapy and embark on a journey towards greater happiness and fulfillment, but I am here to support and empower you every step of the way.

Ryan has a great balance between being empathetic / understanding and pushing back on you to help you grow as a person. He is very thoughtful and goes the extra mile for his people! He is also very good at helping with trama and abuse!

I was very against therapy and thought it would never help me in a million years, I got super lucky with Ryan being my first therapist he has been nothing short of amazing, extremely knowledgeable, and attentive. He has opened my mind so much and I am so proud of myself with the progress that I have made and Ryan is a huge role in that.
