Sometimes, holding a mirror up can reflect back strengths we don't realize we possess, especially in difficult times and circumstances. It has been an honor for me to watch people overcome a variety of challenging situations, recognizing their own strengths, and giving back to others and their communities. This is what inspires my practice.
I draw from a variety of theories because I know that there is no one size fits all approach. I often utilize Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems Theory, and Self-Compassion models. It is important to be aware of a variety of tools, paths, and resources available to you on your journey towards wellness. This is why I also value your feedback as we work together,

You will learn new skills and explore thought patterns that often block us from recognizing our own strengths and potential. We will find what works for you. Ive been meeting with Sarah weekly for right at a year now. The personal growth I have seen in myself during that time has been exponential. There truly is a night and day difference in how I interpret others actions/words, how I speak to and think about myself and how I am able to recognize and process my emotions.
