About me

My name is Sally Hernandez. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a profound commitment to the well-being and mental health of my clients. After experiencing my own struggles with mental health, I discovered a calling to support those who are affected by the challenges of mental illness. This prompted me to return to college in 2014, with a singular goal in mind: to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.

Through determination and the knowledge acquired from managing my own mental health diagnoses effectively, I sought an education and career that would allow me to provide empathy, unwavering support, and compassionate care to individuals who may not have the support system I was fortunate to have during the most challenging period of my life. I have years of experience within the inpatient treatment setting as a Primary Therapist to clients struggling with mental health and substance use disorders. I have additional experience as a Clinical Supervisor within the inpatient treatment setting, as well as serving the US Veteran Population as an Outpatient Therapist.

My most cherished aspect of my role as an LCSW is the privilege of witnessing individuals grow, become empowered, and develop the essential skills to manage their own mental health effectively. I am deeply committed to guiding my clients towards growth, healing, and positive transformation.
