About me

My work experience includes work as a clinician in Community Mental Health Centers in both urban and rural settings. Individuals I have had the pleasure to work with include people struggling with issues such as depression, anxiety, grief and loss, divorce, life changing events, work difficulties, brain injury, intellectual challenges, personality challenges and many others. I spent many years working as the Clinical Director of a very large Community Mental Health Center giving me a varied experience of clientele and issues.

My style of therapy is to work together as a team to figure out how to feel better, think clearer, and act in-line with the way you desire. My approach is warm, welcoming and supportive. I prefer a client centered approach and use unconditional nonjudgmental positive regard as my mainstay in the therapeutic relationship.

Reaching out for help can be very difficult and I encourage you to take a breath and make the call for yourself. I will be happy to work with you when you are ready to start.

Change your mind, change your life.

Sara has been so great for my life. She is super supportive. Sara actively listens and asks questions that are intelligent and thoughtful. I truly believe that Sara genuinely cares about her clients as people. She is genuine, funny, kind, and relatable. While she may not be a great fit for everyone she is everything I didn't know I needed in a therapist.

Sara is thoughtful in her approach and definitely makes me feel heard. Understands where I’m coming from and she offers tons of insight. I honestly wish I would’ve found her earlier in life because the ways she’s helped me thus far have been incredible in such a short time.

Sara is easy to talk to without interruption. She asks for clarification if I'm not clear so she can throughly understand what I am telling her.
