Hello! Thank you for taking time to read my profile. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker licensed in the state of Missouri with 20+ years of clinical experience. I love to lead, empower, help people become who they want to be, and reach their full potential . I followed my passion to assist people in thriving by obtaining a Bachelor's in Social Work in 1998 from Columbia College and a MSW in 2001 from Saint Louis University. I have worked in several clinical settings including nonprofits, hospitals, prisons, and schools. I have experience in counseling couples, individuals (adults and children) and facilitating groups. I have received specialized training in , cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Play Therapy and trauma treatments. The primary focus of our sessions are communication. I requested a straight forward and caring therapist who’s invested in my wellbeing. I believe that Sara Scott is a perfect fit for me, because she doesn’t beat around the bush. She tells me exactly what I need to hear in a way that she knows I will understand.
