Sarah Hacker, LCSW
About me
Greetings! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist, in the state of North Carolina. I have been a social worker for 8 years, and have worked with a wide variety of people from different walks of life. I graduated with my Bachelors in Social Work from Western Carolina University in 2014, and my Masters in Social Work from University of New England in 2017. I currently reside in beautiful Asheville, North Carolina, with my wife, child, and three dogs.
Life shows up, and when it does, you never have to face it alone. Spending time to build rapport is crucial, as it creates trust and feelings of safety. Most of my experience is working with people who are struggling with substance abuse, trauma, anxiety, depression, and LBGTQ+ issues. I believe that everyone deserves to be treated with respect, compassion, and be able to work through life’s challenges without fear of judgment.
I am available during business hours, and have some flexibility with weekends. I am willing to interact with you on any platform that most suites your needs. I do feel that video sessions are most beneficial, in order to get to know one another better. I would be honored to walk with you through your journey of healing.
