Sarah O’Herlihy, LCPC
About me
I believe that all individuals have indescribable dignity, worthiness, and value and as such I believe all people deserve compassion and respect. This is the foundation for all the work that I do with clients. Helping people has always been a passion for me, and counseling is a natural extension of that passion. I am warm and laid back, and approach therapy from a client-centered approach. I incorporate dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and mindfulness into practice with clients.
I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Nevada and have been practicing for seven years. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in substance abuse counseling from The University of Nevada, Reno in 2014. In 2016, I graduated cuma sum laude from Multnomah University in Portland, Oregon with a master’s degree in counseling.
