About me

Hello-

I have been a licensed LPC counselor in Missouri for the past five years and was recently licensed in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, District of Columbia, Maine, and Virginia. Working with individuals, families, and couples has provided me with the ability to assist individuals throughout many aspects of their lives.

I have had training in DBT, CBT, EMD-R and continue to grow my therapeutic knowledge through self-training and through clinical training. I have had the pleasure of working in many different fields throughout my life time and feel this has provided me with the ability to look at situations from a variety of different perspectives.

I firmly believe that when a person makes the choice to make changes in their life then they are on the path to becoming who they want to be.

I look forward to hearing from you and assisting you with determining who you want to be.

Thank you,

Savannah Harness, LPC

The sweetest therapist I’ve had in my lifetime. So gentle and caring. Not unwilling to give you tough to hear advice either. Balanced and thorough. I appreciate Savannah’s help very much.

Savannah has the most kind and unique approach. Every session feels like I’m talking to a friend that has an abundance of resources to assist me on my healing journey. She creates a comfortable and supportive environment that truly fosters healing and growth.

Savannah has been wonderful! From the very first session she quickly validated and understood my most pressing issues and goals for therapy. I always feel understood and supported. I appreciate that she asks difficult questions and encourages me to do the work. She has been very helpful in communicating via chat in between our video sessions. I love this feature because it maximizes my time with her - I don’t feel like I am spending my whole session catching her up on the week since I have already let her know what has been happening and what I need help with in real time. It has only been a couple of weeks but the difference made has been transformative! I look forward to the process with her and highly recommend Better Help to anyone that will listen.
