About me
I have been a behavioral health professional for 20 + years and in this time, I have worked within a multitude of areas, I have helped with survivors of sexual assault, investigation of child abuse/ neglect, long term care case management, inpatient and outpatient general mental health/ SMI clinics and crisis interventions. I have worked in hospitals as a case manager providing discharge planning, in correctional health as well as integrated care solving barriers to chronic health conditions and during this time, I have helped lots of people to have better control of their mental, emotional and behavioral health conditions.
My education is from Arizona State University. I have a bachelor’s degree (BSW), a master’s degree (MSW), and a doctorate degree in BH (DBH) as well as a clinical license in Arizona LCSW. I specialize in integrated care where I locate barriers to medical conditions and assist with solutions to cope.
I enjoy helping people in any of the life stages and look forward to assisting with health conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol or other barriers to care. I am skilled at assisting with goal setting, crisis intervention, motivational interventions and active listening techniques. I help with educational and career planning, child development, relationship issues as well as positive self-image work, to name a few.
