I have been working with Shana for 6-7 months and have loved our time together. She has helped me views things in a different light and helped me address areas of need. I would recommend Shana 10/10!

I look forward to my ongoing conversations with Shana. She is warm, insightful, and offers meaningful coping strategies and tools that have helped me become more meditative and focused. There is a lot trauma and stress (childhood and current) that seemed to be weighing down on me, even more so during this pandemic. Shana offers a different perspective that guides me through looking at things through a different set of lens and has helped foster my relationships with my children and husband. She also provides relevant scripture and biblical characters that I’ve used for continued meditation throughout the week. It has helped release a lot of the guilt and resistance that I once had, and I feel more motivated and hopeful. I value our conversations and look forward to our therapy sessions.

Working with Shana has been extremely helpful and rewarding. No matter if I’m going through something hard or intense or if everything feels aligned, Shana’s guidance, suggestions, ability to listen and supportive energy have been extremely helpful in helping me understand my feelings, recurring patterns and ways I get in my own way. I always leave our sessions feeling seen & heard, often with new tools to help me move forward. I am so grateful for our work together & highly recommend her to anyone looking to help themselves.

Where do I begin. I came to Shana broken. I had been sexually abused by my sister from the ages of 8 to 14, that same sister lead me to alot of pain through out the years. I had no idea how I had allowed mself to be manipulated for decades. I am now in my 50's and after getting covid I had a massive realization that my life had to change drastically, but I wasn't connecting the dots of how the sexual abuse had deeply affected my life. When I started therapy just 3 months ago I had stopped speaking to my sister and started seeking God. Shana was a gift from God. I held nothing back brought her all of my pain which she so graceously received. I specifically requested a spiritual counselor so we use the bible on every session. I wish I could write how beautifully I am healing. It has been hard but beautiful. I clearly see God's grace in my life. Could not be more grateful for Shana as my therapist.

I started seeing Shana for help with coping skills and loss of self-esteem related to chronic health issues. She is compassionate and patient, and I appreciated that she always asked about my current health and understood how that played into my ability to be present in therapy. She is very easy to talk to and I felt comfortable with her from the very beginning.

Shana is great! I started working with Shana more than a year ago to help manage my anxiety and work-related stress. I had tried counseling before, but I had never been able to connect with my therapist at the time. With Shana, it was a totally different experience! Within our first session together, I felt like she was able to understand my needs and goals for therapy. She also provided me with exercises and strategies, which were really helpful. Over the course of the year, Shana helped me to better articulate my emotions, needs, and boundaries, and find new coping tools to calm my mind. She was a great listener and non-judgmental partner to have on my journey, and she helped me find the confidence and validation that I needed to dig deeper and move forward. Plus she has such a warmth about her and great laugh too! I’m taking a break from therapy now because I really feel like I’m in a good spot to manage the ups and downs as they come. Thank you, Shana.

Shana is great! I was struggling with a breakup and work stress. I really look forward to my sessions with her. Her demeanor and warmth coupled with non-judgmental responses to my concerns were really helpful. I felt like my feelings were accepted and normalized. She also helped with exercises and strategies that I found to be really impactful. I think I’m to the other side in some ways and am going to take a break from therapy to fly solo but would work with Shana again. Thank you Shana!

She is extremely great at her job. She gave me tools to help myself and soothe/comfort myself. And the more I learn about why I react a certain way or how my childhood really shaped who I am. And once I understood those type of things the less I needed to self soothe. I am grateful for her assistance!

I really appreciated the time and effort that Shana put into my sessions. She made it very easy to open up about issues I had been struggling with, and helped me to not only understand the emotions that I had been feeling, but also how to move forward and develop strategies that would help me in life. Shana helped me gain a different perspective when, before I started counseling, the only perspective I could see was the one inside myself. She really took the time to listen and understand how I was feeling, and to understand where those feelings were coming from.
