Shanice Fluitt, LCSW
About me
Hello! My name is Shanice. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Florida. I specialize in working with young women and teens who experience anxiety, perfectionism, people-pleasing, or complicated family dynamics. I empower my clients by building off of their natural strengths of resilience and empathy, and help them learn how to self-advocate and thrive in their authentic identities.
I consider myself to be a relational therapist, meaning that I believe that having a strong therapeutic relationship is extremely impactful in the success in therapy. I am open, authentic, and empathetic. I will often ask for feedback and input in how we navigate your therapy experience, as I consider my client the expert on their life.
I tailor my therapeutic style to the needs of my clients. I am an eclectic therapist, meaning that I don't utilize just one therapeutic style, but that I pull from various different modalities. I treat each of my client's as their own individual beings, and treat their therapy experience as individualistic and unique as well.
I'm so glad that you're here, and I look forward to meeting with you!
