About me

Hello! My name is Sharon Clark and I have 20+ years as a therapist. Therapy is a second career for me, so I have the benefit of offering some helpful information about navigating the "real world," and hopefully, you'll learn my experience is not straight out of the textbooks! Over the past years, I have worked with a very diverse population that struggle with unique perspectives on therapy and how it works. I have also worked as a substance abuse counselor if that is area you want to get help with. I can interact with you in whatever manner you choose, but video conferencing is my personal preference as it gives you the opportunity to get to know me and vice versa. I can be flexible to help accommodate your work schedule, school, doctor's appointments etc.

Sharon has been such a great help to my life! She truly listens, understands and makes me feel so heard and understood.

Listens well, perceptive, hears what’s unspoken. Asks probing questions, provides suggestions. Applies the appropriate amount of push to have you complete tasks along the way.

Sharon has been a great help! As an LGBTQIA person, I was a little hesitant to work with a straight cis person, but she's a great ally and really understands my concerns and where I'm coming from.

This is the first time in either therapy or seeking any form of guidance that I feel not just understood but hopeful. Sharon is a professional counselor with empathy and insight. I highly recommend her.
