About me

I am a qualified intergrative counsellor and psychotherapist with over 20 years experience in supporting those who find life challenging. I am best placed at helping individuals find their way, making sense of who they are and where they wish to go. My strengths lie in helping make closure on the past to achieve a brighter future.

I am warm, caring and creative, I offer both a safe place to reflect and explore as well as a place to grow and learn. I use a variety of tools such as Narrative Therapy, cognitive behaviour therapy, person centred, transactional analysis, psychodynamic approach.
I also make use of creative techniques to overcome parts of our self that we may struggle with and ways to manage those overwhelming feelings and emotions.

I have successfully worked with clients who present with depression, anxiety, relationship and family problems, hurts, habits and hang ups, loss and grief, parenting problems, career issues, adverse childhood experiences and trauma.

I am a strong advocate for self efficacy and believe that no one knows us better than we know ourselves and with some help from time to time we all need a little direction towards the sun to help our sunflower flourish.

If you feel that this is your time for change then take the first step and get in touch with me and let’s start the journey together.

Sharon has been really lovely and understanding in our sessions. She is professional but allows me to speak freely without judgement and really listens to me. She's hit the nail on the head many times with how I am feeling and I'm excited to keep working with her.
