I have experience in helping clients with stress, anxiety, trauma, abuse, coping with grief, coping with loss, motivation, self-esteem, & confidence. I also have experience working with coping with life changes. I use a practical style of therapy, utilizing personal life experience and education. I grew up in Western KY, in extreme poverty and in an abusive household. My escape was the military, and after 14 years of service I was medically discharged. I took this opportunity to return to school so I could learn how to help others going through some of the same challenges that I have gone through. I have worked in a community clinic, and I currently work full time with inmates at one of KY's state prisons.
