About me

I am a licensed clinical social in Louisiana with 30 years of professional work experience. Over the course of my career I have worked with children, youth, families, seniors, those experiencing mental health issues, those with developmental disabilities, veterans, individuals experiencing homelessness and those training for a career.

I have worked in a variety of settings to include: inpatient and outpatient mental health, public health, primary care, mental health rehabilitation, residential, school-based and in-home. I have experience in providing individual, group and family therapy.

My approach combines cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing and patient-centered therapy. I have experience in helping clients with family conflicts, trauma and abuse, motivation, self esteem, and confidence. I also have experience working with coping with life changes.

I can teach you skills to help you overcome self-esteem issues, communication problems, setting boundaries, building healty relationships and many more.

I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in that journey.
