Shelby Martini, LPC
About me
I am a counselor working on my certification as a clinical mental heath counselor and am licensed in Idaho with 4 years of professional work experience. I have worked with many clients dealing with a wide range of concerns from stress and anxiety to depression to PTSD and TBI to coping with every day life and life changes. I am certified in brainspotting, which makes me uniquely qualified for treating clients who have experienced trauma and/or have a PTSD diagnosis.
My counseling style is warm and engaging. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I don't believe in or like to use any stigmatizing labels. I work from primarily a trauma informed lens along with the Person Centered approach, although I pull from all theories to find what works best for my clients. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
It takes courage to pursue the life you want and take those first steps towards change. If you are ready to take that first step, I am here to support you.
I look forward to working with you!
