Sherree Turcott, LCSW
About me
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Florida and North Carolina, with additional education in maternal and child health, lactation counseling, and childhood education. I have a special passion for supporting families as they navigate parenting, fertility challenges, adoption or fostering, pregnancy, and postpartum experiences.
I believe you are the expert of your own story, and within you are many strengths that can help you overcome the challenges you face. It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling, happier life, and I am here to empower and support you as you take those first steps toward positive change.
My therapeutic approach centers on collaboration, compassion, and empowerment. I specialize in helping parents build healthy, strong connections with their children while learning to manage parenting triggers. I also enjoy working with individuals just beginning their therapy journey—those who are eager to develop new skills, explore personal growth, and embrace change.
In addition to my professional life, I am a mother and wife, homeschooling my daughter in the mountains of Western North Carolina. Fun facts about me: I have ADHD, I’m obsessed with true crime, I love the feeling of sticking my bare hands into beehives, and caramel iced lattes are my go-to source of energy!
I look forward to walking alongside you on your journey toward healing and self-discovery.

Sheree is at once very professional and very casual in her approach. She has always made me feel entirely at ease and in good hands when talking about things which aren’t always easy to speak about.

I've made more progress with my mental health in a few months with Sherree than I have in decades. She knows how to respond to my concerns and gives me tools to use in my everyday life. I feel supported but also confident in my ability to use the tools she gives me.

Sherree has taught me natural ways to deal with my stress and anxiety. Every session, she is open minded and keeps an open ear. I have never felt any judgment from her and talking to her feels natural. She supports me but also challenges me which leads to true self realizations and self improvement. I came to therapy seeking an outlet for every stressors and Sherree has been great in guiding me through everyday issues.

She was an amazing therapist! I was going through a couple of rough situations in my life at the time and I decided to try therapy for the first time. Better help matched me with her and I loved her from the start. She would listen and not seem annoyed or bored by what I had to say. She would ask me really good questions that would make me realize I was right with what my intuition was telling me. Provided me with valuable research and knowledge. I will definitely be coming back to her if needed in the future.
