Sherry Escudero, LMHC
About me
I am a mental health counselor licensed in New York. I graduated from SUNY Oswego in 2004 and have over 15 years experience in the counseling field. I have worked in a variety of settings including community clinics, foster care, and with the military. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, as well as those who have experienced different types of trauma and abuse.
I tend to take a person centered approach and believe the counseling relationship is a functional part of the process. It is important that the client feels comfortable with the counselor and is confident it is a good match and working relationship. Everyone's journey is unique and the counselor is there as a guide.
It takes courage to seek for a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. If you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you.
I look forward to working with you!
