About me
I am a counseling psychologist and licensed psychotherapist in North Carolina with 9 years of professional work experience. I have work experience with children, adolescents, and adults. I aim to assist clients cope with daily stressors, triggers to anxiety, alterations in mood, relationship issues, anger management, motivation, self esteem, and confidence.
I possess a Doctoral degree in psychology, and a Masters in counseling. I am skilled and hold experience in different counseling approaches which includes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), person centered therapy, motivational interviewing, dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and solution-focus therapy.
I strive to treat everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. More importantly, I believe it is vital to recognize we are human. This means your feelings are valid, and its time to acknowledge when you are not "fine", "good", or "ok".
My professional goal is to create a safe and trusting connection that allows you to express yourself honestly. My personal mission is to show you unconditional support & acceptance, free of judgment.
