About me

I am licensed in Texas, Louisiana and Arkansas with over 15 years of professional work experience. I graduated from Grambling State University in Louisiana and have worked as a Licensed Social Worker in different settings such as Mental Health, Healthcare and School. I have experience in helping women with stress and anxiety, anger management, motivation, self esteem, and confidence, & depression. My preference is to work with female clients only at this time. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to challenge negatives, Mindfulness to help a person stay aware and conscious of things, and Motivational Interviewing to enhance one’s motivation to change. I believe in a Strength-Based Approach which allows us to meet your needs and help develop healthy coping skills that promote positive change and healing. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion but passionate about working with and empowering women. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can take courage and I am proud of you for getting started!

When I searched for my therapist I wanted to have different kind of access to them. It’s a necessity for me especially with what I’m going through. She makes it very easy to communicate with her with a nonjudgmental presence. Her level of expertise is really helpful. I’m grateful we crossed paths. Wish I did it sooner.
