About me

Hi and thank you for taking time to read my profile! I have been working in the counseling field in various settings and a variety of populations for over twenty years. I am a licensed professional counselor in Texas specializing in women's issues and maternal health though I often approach the counseling relationship from a systems perspective by working with spouses, partners and families as well. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship and intimacy issues, parenting problems, career challenges, postpartum depression, trauma and abuse.

My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and feel that the client is their own greatest advocate.
No one knows you better than you! My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic and solution-focused counseling. Every client is unique, as are their counseling needs, so together we will tailor a treatment plan that works best for you and the goals you set during our sessions.

It takes courage to reach out for help and seek a more fulfilling life. Change can be difficult as can prioritizing yourself and your mental and emotional needs. If you are ready to move forward toward a better and happier version of yourself, I am here to support and empower you.

I look forward to working with you!

Stacey makes me feel comfortable and is extremely comforting. She is my first therapist and I can tell she really listens and wants to help. She brings things up from previous sessions and shows real empathy. I look forward to speaking with her each week.
