About me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have worked in the field for over 35 years. I work primarily with adults who present with depression, anxiety, job stress, parenting stress, struggling with grief and loss. I also have experience in working with people who are dealing with the many transitions of life: marriage, divorce, retirement, aging parents and nearing end of life.

My counseling style is warm, friendly, with a bit of humor. I am client centered/focused. We will begin with where you are. Seeking help can be a difficult decision to make. You have made that first difficult step in exploring and seeking help. My training/approach is in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and psycho-dynamic. I tend to focus on teaching you skills to help you manage your symptoms, thinking process, and communication style. Your treatment plan will be individualized to meet your needs.

Change is difficult. Nobody likes change. But, if you are ready and willing to do the work, I am willing to be your guide and help you during this process. I look forward to working with you.

I went to therapy as a child and had a traumatic experience. I decided to try again a decade later and I couldn’t be more thankful that I was matched with Stacy. She has been everything I could have asked for in a therapist, and more. I cannot recommend Stacy and BetterHelp enough. I’m finally starting to get back on track!

Stacy and I have been working together the past three years. She and I have developed the relationship that has been helpful to get me through the anxiety and depression when it hits hard… she knows me and I know her. She knows how to speak to me when I need the tough love and it is appreciated in the long run… cause we have the client/ patient relationship that has been built off of trust, love and mutual respect. Stacy is a phenomenal therapist and I would recommend her to anyone who has the needs that are within her expertise.

Stacy is very welcoming, friendly, and creates a safe and comfortable environment to open up and talk. She has a lot of experience and strong advice, backed up by statistics, research, worksheets and skills to offer clients to use. She gives the feeling that she cares and is actually interested in helping the people she has as clients. I love the vibe and way she works through therapy sessions. She is overall great!
