I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, adjustment to life transitions, adjustment to illness and chronic disease, end of life counseling, grief and loss, and caregiver stress and related issues.
My therapy style is compassionate, nonjudgmental, warm, and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect and sensitivity and view my role as supporting you in the therapeutic process. I will tailor your therapy to best meet your individual needs. My approach is client centered and combines cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and solution focused therapy, while using a strength based perspective.
It can be hard to seek help and I appreciate the courage that it takes to initiate this process. I look forward to working with you.

Stephanie was an amazing specialist. When I began therapy, obviously I was nervous, and anxious to open up to someone new. She helped get me out of my shell, especially given that communication has always been a struggle for me. Whenever it had been a while since I had scheduled a session, she would reach out to just check in, and made it feel comfortable and safe to reach out myself. She has a genuine interest to help you get to the bottom of why you’re feeling the way you are, without casting judgement.
