About me
Stephanie Durso, LCSW is a Fordham University graduate who specializes in helping clients to identify and express feelings in an effective, healthy manner and to expand on use of healthy coping strategies to improve quality of life and relationships. She works with children, adolescents and adults helping them to get to know themselves in a more intimate way and to use their strengths to make positive life changes. In addition to helping individuals who struggle with depression, anxiety, grief, loss, and substance dependence Ms. Durso can assist with crisis intervention and life changes. Ms. Durso has over ten years experience of working with those working towards their recovery from trauma and self harming behaviors. Her calming presence allows her clients a level of comfort to share anything in order to work towards success. Ms. Durso’s desire to serve the community by helping others to realize their own strength and resiliency is unwavering. She believes that everyone has the ability to recover from any life stressor by tapping into their soul and becoming open to balance in all areas of life.
