About me

Hello,
They say if you find a career you love, it doesn't ever feel like work. Well, I've been loving my career for the past 11 years! I received my bachelor's degree in Psychology and master's in Agency Counseling. I worked at an Out Patient Therapy center for 10 years and now currently work at an acute hospital that specializes in suicidal/homicidal ideation and psychosis. I use Person-Centered, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Solution-Focused as my main therapy approaches. Based on the client's needs, the approach will be individualized. Are you very anxious? Can't seem to stop the irrational thoughts from taking up most of your day? I provided guided mediation to help with reducing anxiety and PTSD related symptoms.

I cannot recommend Stephanie highly enough! From our very first session, I felt heard, understood, and supported. Her professionalism, patience, and deep understanding of human emotion have been transformative for my personal growth. Not only does she create a safe and welcoming environment, but she also offers insightful feedback and practical tools that I can apply in my daily life. Every session is tailored to my needs, and I've experienced noticeable improvements in my mental well-being. Highly recommended Stephanie if you're seeking a compassionate and effective therapist!

Phenomenal person and therapist! We've worked together for around 2 years. She's been able to help me get out of "survival mode" from past traumas and slowly, subtly, help me break toxic relationship cycles across the board with life. It's been a process because I've been through a lot, but am so thankful for her. I feel like I can thrive in my personal life now as well as I do in my professional life.

I never thought online therapy would be as good as face to face but Stephanie is amazing. She really helped me & is now my go to person to help me thru life's trials & to manage & overcome my issues.

Stephanie has helped me through a very difficult time in my life, and I have come out on the other side feeling more confident in myself, ready to make firm and healthy boundaries, and fight for what's important in my life. She also helped me identify my ADHD, while I'd gone 34 years just not knowing why I felt different my whole life. She is wonderful.

I'm not sure exactly how long Stephanie has been my therapist, but I'm so thankful I found her! We do chat sessions, which is awesome because I have social anxiety (although I totally could handle any kind of session with her now!), and she is nothing but AMAZING! When I literally just need to talk to someone about something out loud so I can work through it myself, she provides exactly the right guidance to get me through and when I have NO idea what I'm doing, she either guides me or gives me direct suggestions! Not only does she support me in working through difficult things, but she celebrates my achievements and successes. I never feel judged for not making progress but I feel like she sees every tiny success (and obviously the big ones!). She has never missed a session and has been super forgiving when my life got so hectic I had to reschedule back to back! She is everything you want in an LPC!
