About me
Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over four years of clinical experience. I have a huge passion for helping others! I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Arizona State University in 2013 and my Master in Social Work from the University of New England in 2017. Before becoming a therapist, I served in the military and worked with veterans and their families for several years. I also worked as a Certified Pharmacy Technician for ten years. After obtaining my Master's degree, I proceeded with my true passion of helping people live happier and healthier lives.
I have experience working in intensive outpatient treatment programs providing therapeutic services to an array of populations. I have treated clients from Major Depressive Disorder and Generalized Anxiety Disorder to Schizophrenia and Bipolar Disorder. I have experience working with Borderline Personality Disorder. I have over four years of experience working with complex and severe trauma cases. Examples of these trauma cases include: war/military trauma, sexual/physical/mental/emotional abuse, neglect, abandoned, and relationship trauma. I use various types of treatment modalities within the therapeutic setting to include: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to include adding elements of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, Client Centered Therapy, and Trauma Focused Therapy. I believe in providing safe and judgment free settings to all clients. I applaud you for taking the first steps in seeking support. It is a difficult road but I am here to help, guide, and support.
Overall, my passion is to assist you with achieving your goals in the safest, purest, and most supportive manner possible so you can continue to live a happier and healthier life. Stay safe and stay amazing!

So far I’ve had 2 sessions with Stephanie. She understands so much and helps me to feel validated with emotions I go through. She’s very caring and listens to understand instead of just giving me general answers. She is amazing!

Stephanie actually listens to understand rather than listening to respond. Even when I go on a rant about the impending collapse of society as we know it, she takes the time to see my perspective and help me find the next step forward. I've been through 4 therapists, 2 psychiatrists, and a couple prescriptions over the last year, and now I can finally stop the search for the right one to work with. Thank you, Stephanie!

Stephanie is a fantastic therapist. She is the first therapist to seem to understand me and I connect with. I needed my therapist to feel like a close friend or I won't open up. I have that with Stephanie. She is amazing

Stephanie has been instrumental in my progress as I have continued to work on my mental health since the trauma of my divorce. I look forward to our weekly talks! She always helps me put it all in perspective.
