About me
As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, I have over 30 plus years of experience in the provision of behavioral health services as both a clinician and clinical manager. I am skilled at motivating, communicating and advocating for adults and adolescents experiencing conflict in their life's. I believe developing and establishing a therapeutic relationship is essential to the counseling process. This includes a comprehensive assessment and understanding of each individual's life experiences that affect psychosocial, psychological, interpersonal and emotional development. I value and respect each person's individuality creating an environment based on support and trust.
My training and experience include treatment of Mood/Anxiety Disorders, Attention Deficit Disorders, Trauma/Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Relationship Issues.
Clinical approach includes the use of constructs of CBT, REBT, DBT, EMDR, Solution Focused Therapy, Reality Therapy and John Gottman- Researched Based Approach.
