Listens carefully and without making judgments. Brings his humanity but keeps professional boundaries. Remembers and refers to things brought up in previous sessions and asks about how I feel in the present about matters that were on my mind. Responds in the present without excessive history taking. Good sense of humor and can laugh with me at appropriate times.
