Steven Paro, LCSW
About me
My approach to my clients is very focused on finding solutions based on the issues they bring to therapy. In my 43 years of experience I have dealt with depression, anxiety, substance use disorders, grief and loss. I have worked with many individuals who have been traumatized at all stages of life. I believe in the use of positive, client centered therapy which empowers people to recognize their strengths and abilities to reach their goals. I am also capable of working with persons who have lost their spiritual direction and feel they have lost their connection with their Christian values. I have recently worked for 4 years with people with neurodevelopmental disorders such as those on the Autism Spectrum and with severe intellectual disabilities. I believe that everyone can learn and grow no matter what they are dealing with!

Truly helped me through the most difficult times in my life. If it wasn't for him I wouldn't be thriving or as happy as I am today. I can thoroughly say that he has helped me overcome so many of my issues. 20/10
