Stuart Lynd, LPC
About me
I am Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware. I graduated with my master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University in 2016. Since that time, I have worked with adolescents and adults in a variety of different settings. I have worked with anxiety, depression, anger, addiction, relationships, communication problems, grief and loss, psychosis, mood disorders, and LGBTIA+-related concerns.
I strive to provide clients with a safe space to feel respected, heard and understood. I support clients in building effective communication skills, fostering meaningful relationships, practicing appropriate social skills, utilizing healthy coping strategies, and establishing and maintaining healthy boundaries to generate positive change. I use an eclectic, strengths-based, trauma-informed approach to therapy that is integrative and collaborative. I strive to be client-centered by working to tailor sessions to each individual’s needs and goals. I have experience using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, and other Cognitive Behavioral therapies.

I have felt very comfortable with Stuart. I have had therapists in the past I was comfortable with but Stuart has surpassed them. I have been able to talk about and work through a variety of things, some I didn't expect to open up about, ever! I feel like Stuart has a wealth of knowledge that has been invaluable to my situation(s) I am currently going through. I look forward to my therapy sessions with Stuart every week, I am starting to feel like myself again in some ways because of the work we are doing together and will continue to do.

Stuart has been really helpful. He's attentive; he's got a warmth and kindness about him; and he has offered many ideas that can be applied in real life.

Stuart is compassionate and knows how to listen. I’m in the mental health field myself and use BetterHelp to maintain confidentiality and to avoid having counseling sessions with other colleagues. Stuart is great at providing feedback and is so helpful as I have a stressful job.
